Kimberlee J. Karey, DDS
Dr. Kimberlee Karey is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She attended college and grad school in the Chicago area. Kim graduated with honors from Northwestern University Dental School in 1986. She started her dental career in Chicago, but relocated to join her future husband in Ann Arbor. She enjoys the warmth and excitement in Ann Arbor and thinks it’s a great place to raise a family. Kim has been practicing in the area for 18 years. Her goal is to give her patients a comfortable, positive experience along with healthy, beautiful teeth. Kim’s new dental office is located on the central campus of the University of Michigan, at the intersection of Liberty and State above Starbucks. She enjoys seeing faculty and students, as well as other Ann Arborites. She loves the fact that people working around here can come for a dental appointment then get right back to work.
When Kim was asked what she likes best about practicing dentistry, her response was, “I am happy and proud when I can make a nervous patient comfortable and give them a beaming smile. I want your dental experience to be positive, comforting, and esthetically the best you can get.”
Continuing education is very important to Kim and her staff. She believes that you must always keep learning new techniques and procedures. Kim has taken a lot of continuing education courses, focusing on implants, cosmetics, and sleep apnea. Kim is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society.
